LUNCH AND LEARN Social Science Instructor Ken DeLong presents “Constitution Day” on Sept. 17, from noon to 1 p.m. in rooms D303-305 in MCC’s Beatrice E. Doser Building in Sidney and at 7 p.m. in room G129 in the Ash TLC on MCC’s Greenville Campus.  Pizza and pop is provided for students with a current MCC ID and is $2 for all others.

LIFE-LONG LEARNERS PRESENTATIONTales of a Fugitive From the Law of Averages – Nine Decades of Memories!” by Bill Delp of the Fighting Falcon Museum is Sept. 26 from 10 to 11:15 a.m.  in room G129 in the Ash TLC on MCC’s Greenville Campus.  The program continues with a visit to the Fighting Falcon Museum from 11:15 a.m. to noon.

CLOSING PROGRAM – ONE BOOK ONE COUNTY MONTCALM is Oct. 7 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Greenville High School Performing Arts Center.

ASH LECTURESHIP SERIES “Global Responsibility in the Digital Age” with Dr. Amy Richards is Oct. 8 at noon in room G129 in the Ash TLC on MCC’s Greenville campus and at 6:30 p.m. in rooms D303-305 in the Beatrice E. Doser Building on MCC’s Sidney campus.  Pizza and pop is provided for students with a current ID and is $2 for all others.

LIFE-LONG LEARNERS PRESENTATION “Know the 10 Signs – Early Detection Matters,” by Joy Spahn, MPA, Alzheimer’s Association of Michigan, is Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. to noon in room G129 in the Ash TLC on MCC’s Greenville Campus.

“PRESERVING MICHIGAN’S FORESTS” by Brian Stout, author of the book “Trees of Life,”  is Oct. 13 at noon in room A137 in the Stanley P. Ash Building on MCC’s Sidney campus and at 7 p.m. in room G129  in the Ash TLC on MCC’s Greenville campus. Pizza and pop is provided for students with a current ID and is $2 for all others.

HAUNTED INDOOR FOREST is Oct. 17, 18, 24 & 25 at 8 p.m. in MCC’s Instruction North Building in Sidney.

LIFE-LONG LEARNERS PRESENTATION “World Religions” by Dr. Gary Hauck is Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to noon in room G129 in the Ash TLC on MCC’s Greenville Campus.

NOVEMBER

FALL CONCERT “Music of the Seas” with the MCC Alumni & Friends Choir and MCC Philharmonic is Nov. 2 at 3 p.m. in the gymnasium in the Activities Building on MCC’s Sidney campus. Admission is free.

MCC’S DRAMA CLASS PERFORMANCE Students perform Nov. 8 at 2 p.m.  and Nov. 9  at 2 and 4 p.m. at MCC’s Barn Theater in Sidney.  Admission is free.

VETERAN’S DAY CEREMONY A “Veteran’s Day” ceremony is Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. at the flagpoles in front of the Donald C. Burns Administration/Library Building on MCC’s Sidney campus.  A veteran’s luncheon follows in room D303 in the Beatrice E. Doser Building on MCC’s campus Sidney featuring World War II veteran Jack Lawrence.  Lunch is free to all veterans and students with valid MCC ID and is $2 for all others.

ANNUAL STUDENT ART EXHIBIT & SALE is Nov. 17-20, 24-25 and Dec. 1-4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Instruction North Building on MCC’s Sidney campus.

“MCC MELODIES” A music recital of MCC students, staff and faculty is Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. in room W211 in the Instruction West Building on MCC’s Sidney campus.  Admission is free.

DECEMBER

MCC Holiday Celebration featuring Santa & Heritage Village is Dec. 7 from 1 to 4 p.m. at MCC’s Sidney Campus and Montcalm Heritage Village.
